In the centre of Almere are more than 300 shops! In particular, the new city centre is very popular; all known shops are represented here. In the Stationsstraat and the Bottelaarspassage are also smaller and lesser-known shops.

In the city centre of Almere shops are also open on Thursday evening until 9 p.m.

There's a market in Almere's city centre (on Stadhuisplein: the square in front of the Town Hall) on Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00 h.
